Binary XML (AndroidManifest.xml, res/layout/*.xml …), resources.arsc, .apk or .aab (ZIP64 too). Up to 1 GiB for archives, 64 MiB for single files.
What this tool does not do
It decodes; it does not re-encode, edit or rebuild an APK (apktool b does that).
Styles, arrays and plurals in resources.arsc are listed by name but their items are not expanded. Configurations are named by language, density and SDK level only; any other qualifier shows as +….
Android framework references (@0x01…) stay hex, as aapt2 prints them. An AAB manifest is decoded, but its resources.pb is used only to name references.
